Pink Clover is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a proud recipient of the GuideStar Gold Seal of Transparency. Our core mission is to support women facing the challenges of breast cancer. Currently, 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in their lifetime.
Founded by Colleen Sorbello’s family and friends in her memory, Pink Clover remains committed to three key pillars: Research, Education, and Comfort.
Research
Pink Clover has proudly contributed to the Colleen Sorbello Research Laboratory at the University of New Haven. In 2021, the lab published findings that may reveal a potential link between breast cancer and Lyme disease.
We also support the Abramson Cancer Center at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, funding prevention trials that focus on breast cancer recurrence.
Education
Our Lecture Series is a community outreach program designed to inform and empower South Jersey residents. These free, informal seminars cover a range of topics, including early detection, treatment options, support services, and insurance navigation. Presentations are led by healthcare professionals from our partners at Inspira Health Networkand AtlantiCare.
Comfort
In addition to financial grants, Pink Clover provides ongoing moral, emotional, and social support to breast cancer patients. With the help of our partners—including Penn Medicine, Inspira Health Network, and AtlantiCare—we distribute care packages to women undergoing treatment and help with essential living expenses.
